This past Friday in a one-sided battle against Tomball Concordia Lutheran at Crusader Stadium, the Button Football Team won their district game, taking them to 3-0 in district play, and 6-1 overall. The final score in the game was 49-26.

Along with the victory, Fullback Michael Mayhugh (#15) was chosen as the Jon Wayne Player of the Game, and is currently in the running for Jon Wayne Player of the Week.

Mayhugh had 5 receptions for 108 yards, and even a touchdown. He also had a few offensive blocks throughout the duration of the game.
