Guardian Angels provide service to support Project Mend
March 11, 2017
It was damp and drizzly outside, but inside at Project Mend on Austin Street, dozens of Central Catholic Guardian Angels selflessly provided a few hours out of their Saturday to help Project Mend clean walkers, wheel chairs, bed railings, roller wheels, and more.
According to Joe Talamantez, Warehouse Manager at Project Mend, the support of these young men has helped Joe and his team complete a project that has long been underway. “This has been a huge benefit to Project Mend. We’ve been shorthanded on volunteers and it is such a blessing to be able to have this group of teenagers from Central Catholic High School to come and assist us to get the job done. ”
Students from all grade levels represented Central Catholic today at Project Mend, taking time out of their first Spring Break Saturday to demonstrate that they are truly willing and able to put service before self during these 40 days of Lent, and provide a great representation of the Central Catholic community.

It looks like you’ve misspelled the word “tommorrow” on your website. I thought you would like to know :). Silly mistakes can ruin your site’s credibility. I’ve used a tool called SpellDoc.com in the past to keep mistakes off of my website.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention. It has been corrected. The proofing and editing is never done!
Are you a Central parent, Kerri?

A BIG, BIG THANK YOU to everyone from Central Catholic that took the time out of their much-earned Spring Break to come out to our warehouse and help us with our projects! You’ve given so many people the gift of mobility, and we hope you will think of us again for your volunteer project in the future! You are truly our guardian angels!
