The 2015-2016 Iron Fangs Robotics Team came away from their first regional robotics competition with an impressive award as they received the 2016 Rookie Inspiration Award for their performance during the FIRST Regional Robotics Competition held March 9 through 12 in San Antonio’s Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

The team, under the direction of Mr. Horwath, designed and built their own custom robot ,which they named ‘Brobot’. Many hours of hard work, early mornings, late nights, trial and error and practice paid off for the team. The have another regional competition later in Lubbock.
