The 2017 Central Catholic state champion TAPPS soccer team was honored and recognized Wednesday, April 5 at AT & T Stadium during a pregame ceremony.

Escorted by CCHS alumn Jean-Pierre (JP) Sanchez, ’11, the team and Coaches Cartee and Gomez got a first hand look at what it’s like ‘behind the scenes’, as they were ushered through the inner workings of the Spur’s home court. JP had this to say about the experience of bringing the state champion Button soccer team to AT & T Stadium: “As an alumni, it is great to be able to give the young men of Central a unique experience like this. It is a true honor and I hope we can bring them out again next year!”
