The Central Catholic Varsity Track Team placed 6th over all on Saturday, April 1 in a regional track meet at SAISD’s Alamo Stadium.

Team members that placed invidually are as follows:

300m Hurdles:

Jack Perkins – 2nd

Zach Davidsmeyer – 5th

3200m:

Nathaniel Zapata – 3rd

800m:

Sam Cardenas – 2nd

110m Hurdles:

Zach Davidsmeyer – 6th

4x400m Relay:

Austin Rodriguez, Charlie Gomez, David Aguilar, Jack Perkins – 6th

Pole Vault:

Austin Vargas – 2nd

Colton Townsend – 5th

The track team’s Coach Brimmer had this to say about the boys performance on Saturday: “The boys are all in the final stages of the season.  This meet went very well for this part of the season, and we will continue to work and prepare for Regionals and hope to have several boys qualifying for the state championship meet.”
