Congratulations to the Yearbook Staff for receiving the Gallery of Excellence award! The Gallery of Excellence is a showcase of the best yearbooks published by Walsworth, and the 2016 Central Catholic High School yearbook has been inducted into this prestigious collection. Only a small percentage of the yearbooks that Walsworth publishes are included in the Gallery of Excellence, which features superior examples of coverage, design, photography, and copy.

Publications Adviser Mr. Cassler received the prestigious award from our Walsworth representative Brian Darland (pictured) on behalf the 2015-2016 yearbook staff, which included co-editors Patrick Duffy and Alejandro Zertuche. “It was a lot of hard work, time, and effort put in by all staff members, and we really owe a lot of thanks to the Central Catholic community, faculty, and staff for helping make this yearbook happen last year,” said Mr. Cassler.

The award plaque (pictured), was accompanied by this congratulatory letter from the publisher President, Mr. Don Walsworth:

“Dear Mr. Cassler,
The Gallery of Excellence is a showcase of the best yearbooks published by Walsworth, and the 2016 Central Catholic High School yearbook has been inducted into this prestigious collection.
Congratulations on this outstanding achievement. Only a small percentage of the yearbooks we publish are included in the Gallery of Excellence, which features superior examples of coverage, design, photography, and copy.
Many people will see your 2016 yearbook throughout the year. Our yearbook sales representatives take Gallery books to schools and their workshops as examples and idea generators, and they are displayed at regional, state and national conventions and workshops. Covers, spreads, photos, and coverage ideas are also sometimes used as examples in Walsworth’s educational materials, such as our Possibilities idea book and Idea File magazine.
Gallery books, including yours, ignite the creativity in other yearbook staffs. The induction of your yearbook honors your staff’s exceptional work and dedication to excellence. Again, I offer my congratulations on this tremendous achievement.
Sincerely,
Don Walsworth
President, Walsworth Yearbook Publishing”
